When I was little I used to thing Christmas was the most incredible day of the year and that for the rest of my life, I'd get the best gifts and be happy. That feeling didn't last. The age of getting toys passed and all I wanted was a shopping trip to the mall. Handbags and jewelry came into the picture and toys were out the window. Then eventually the simple gift of money replaced that joyful creativity my mother wrapping gifts and making me wait until midnight once had. Where has that gone? In the age if gift cards and online shopping, one must wonder if Christmas will ever be the same…
